Warranty

All new computers come with the full Apple worldwide 12-month warranty as standard — and this can be extended via AppleCare+ to 3 years at the time of purchase or up to 30 days after purchase. This is best done by yourself online, after you receive the item as then it is tied to your own Apple ID and much simpler in case of a warranty repair in the future. All bundles include 90 days of telephone and email support from both Apple and Steady Comps Ltd, including remote support by a member of our staff. 

All of our machines are brand new unless clearly stated — and they all come from Apple UK via our Apple distributor of 15 years. No questions over warranty status, no imports. We do nothing or add nothing that would invalidate the standard Apple warranty that comes with each computer. All second-hand computers are covered by our own 12-month warranty for peace of mind.

All peripherals that come with the bundles are also covered for a full year from purchase, including the SSD drives, webcams, DVD drives, keyboards and mice. Complete peace of mind. 

What we cover

  • Any hardware issues with the device and its accessories. Software support for the items installed as they arrive with you, subsequent changes by the user are not covered under the warranty. Remote reinstallation and troubleshooting of the programs is possible, and free within fair usage limits for the first 90 days. Please note, there will be a surcharge of £50 per session after that to cover staff wages. 

 

What we do not cover

 

  • We don’t cover faults to your Mac or peripherals caused by accident, neglect, misuse, normal wear and tear, or any alteration or repair carried out without our prior approval, each of which would invalidate the warranty.
